Chapter 1
The Three Boys
This is the tale of three twelve-year-old boys. The three were friends. They all had different backgrounds, but they currently lived in Iselia. The three kept secrets from each other, secrets that would change the dimensions.
Ayu Irving was a young boy with many secrets. He had long, thin blonde hair and brown eyes. He wore a plain white t-shirt and shorts. Ayu always visited the Martel Temple every day after school. In school, Ayu is one of the two smartest kids in his whole school. He is also an excellent swordsman. Ayu doesn’t let anyone know his secrets, which proves to people, that what Ayu keeps a secret is something big.
Doronsu Nadazu is a dark boy with a stubborn attitude. He has black spiky hair and blue eyes. He wore a brown, rag-like shirt (the sleeves cut off) and black pants. He loves his home of Hyrule and Link, the Hero of Time (a hero of legend and Doronsu’s ancestor). While Ayu uses two swords (an art known as twin blades), Doronsu uses three (an art called santoryu. Doronsu (along with Ayu) is one of the two smartest kids in school. Doronsu seems like your typical pre-teen, but maybe there’s more to him than meets the eye.
Gement Chiroho is the son of the Evil Lord, the man who now rules Sylvarant (the dimension Iselia resides in. He has black hair in a small ponytail and black eyes. He wore a brown t-shirt and brown shrts. Gement (as Ayu calls him) is a man of chaos (chaos meaning yin and yang or light and darkness come together) because he is the son of an evil father and good mother. Gement is also a swordsmen, but he uses the typical one sword.
As I said, the three were great friends but they kept powerful secrets from each other. They were different but so similar.
One day at their current home of Iselia, something happened that changed their lives forever.
At the house of Ayu Irving…
Bye Mon, bye Dad,” Ayu yelled as he went out the door. “See ya at 4:00, Mom.”
”See you then son,” Mrs. Irving cried.
“AYU!” a boy yelled to get Ayu’s attention.
“Hey, Doronsu!” Ayu replied.
“Don’t forget me!” another boy yelled.
“Hey, Gement,” Ayu and Doronsu sighed.
The three boys headed off to school. When they got to the school, they noticed their teacher Professor Kue crying at her desk.
“Professor Kue! What happened!?” Ayu asked.
“I read the article on the town’s bulletin board about The Chosen One, the one who would stop the Evil Lord’s reign in Sylvarant, well, it said that The Chosen One mysteriously died, “ Professor Kue answered. “ I decided to tell all of the student’s and end school before it starts.”
“Aweso-“Gement started.
“Professor Kue, we should still go through with school, just make the announcement, “Ayu interrupted.
“AYU!! We could have skipped-“Gement started.
“You’re right,” Professor Kue interrupted wiping the tears from her eyes.
Ayu, Doronsu, and Gement went through school with tempered enthusiasm (except for Ayu who kind of enjoys school), until it was time for Combat Class.
“All right! Combat Class!” Ayu yelled “My favorite time of the day… besides going to the Martel Temple.”
“What did you say?” Doronsu asked
“Nothing.” Ayu answered. “Nothing at all.”
“Now class, get out your weapons,” Professor Kue told the kids. “Ring users go with me, kendama users go with Professor Mando, plain magic users go with Professor Effro, guardian users go with Professor Colle, swordsmen go with Professor Hiyama, axe-wielders go with Professor Dolor, and others, go with Professor Bryant. Ayu, don’t forget, after class, come with me.”
Everyone went to their appointed teachers. Ayu, Doronsu, and Gement went to Professor Hiyama (who turned out to be Ayu’s Father).
“Now class, here are the match-ups: Gement and Kamar, and Ayu and Doronsu,” Professor Hiyama announced.
“You ready for defeat Doronsu?” Ayu asked.
“Dream on,” Doronsu replied.
“GO!!” Professor Hiyama yelled.
For the next hour, Ayu and Doronsu hacked swords at each other, but each time one struck at the other, a block came from the other.
After school Ayu went to the Martel Temple for his daily visit while Doronsu and Gement went home. Of course, none of them noticed the town meeting at the school.
“Finally, we know fully about the Chosen situation!” the mayor told the people at the town meeting.
“But sir, shouldn’t we tell the real Chosen the truth?” Professor Kue asked.
“Yes, you will take care of that tomorrow,” the mayor answered.
“Mayor, are you sure they are the real Chosen?’”
“Yes,” the mayor answered. “Earlier today I went to the Martel Temple and prayed to Martel to show me a sign. I heard the voice of Colette Irving, the Queen of Heaven. She showed me the faxes of the true Chosen, and told me who they truly were. That’s how I know.
“Sir, what am I to tell them besides the fact that they are the real Chosen?” Professor Kue asked.
"Good Question, you must tell them of their journey,” the mayor answered. “You must tell them that they must go to the Martel Temple where Mistress Hiyama will wait for them. She will lead them to the room where I got the sign from Colette. After that they must get supplies for their journey. Their job is to defeat the Evil Lord. Tell them all they don’t know and should know.”
“Yes sir,” Professor Kue replied.
“Sir, I have a question,” another Iselia citizen told the mayor.
“Yes,” the mayor replied.
“Who are the real Chosen,” the citizen asked.
“The most surprising members of our village of Iselia,” the mayor answered. “The real Chosen are: Ayu Irving, Doronsu Nadazu, and Gement Chiroho!”
So, whaddya think?
