Kyle walked into the entrance hall alone. He looked around and was amazed by the sight. A Proffessor walked in carrying a scroll.
"You will be sorted into the four houses soon," the Proffessor. "I am Proffessor McGonagal, the head of Gryffindor house. There are four housees. Gryffindor, Ravencalw, Huffelpuff, and Slytherin."
She opened the giant doors with a wave of her wand and Kyle walked with the first years into a gainormous hall, known as the Great Hall according to Hogwarts, A History.
Kyle heard many names but wasn't paying attention until he heard his name called.
"Nichols, Kyle!"
Kyle walked up to the Sorting Hat at the stool. He sat down and waited a couple seconds.
"Ravenclaw!" the Sorting Hat said. Kyle walked off the stool, took the Sorting Hat, and went to sit with the cheering RAvenclaws.
"Tissue, McKenzie!" Kyle heard after a while.

She sat down with excitement.
"Hm... tricky one here... yes..." the hat said. "Brave and Bold... yet great power... Gryffindor or Slytherin? I haven't had this much trouble sorting since that Potter boy many many years ago... Hm..."
"Pick what you think is best for me." Kenzie replied in her thoughts.
"Slytherin!" it cried out. There were many gasps from her friends.

Kyle was shocked. HE was expecting Hufflepuff, but Slytherin... He stared at McKenzie sat with the cheering Slytherins. He tought she was definitely out of place. Something was wrong.

A blonde haired girl turned to face her.
"You don't look like the Slytherin type." the girl was eyeing the bright colored clothes that showed beneath McKenzie's clothes.
McKenzie shrugged.
"I'm Jenny by the way." the girl continued. "Jenny Stoyer."
"My name is McKenzie. I prefer Kenzie though."
"Hm..."

Then it hit Kyle. Could she be faking it? Could she be something else, rather than what she let on?

McKenzie ignored Jenny's chatter and stared across the room at her friend's faces. Her eyes met Kyle's and for a split second, she had regret in her brown eyes.

Is that regret? Kyle thought. HE was confused. His a wsa spinning, and he didn't noticed the food that had just suddenly appeared.

She let out a sigh and turned to the food that had just appeared on the table. McKenzie wasn't that hungry, but she decided to eat a little before going up the dormitories.

When all the food was finished, Kyle leeft to the dorm's without taking one bite of his desserts (which was something he never did, being a desert fanatic).

She changed her mind about the dormitories, she would head to the library instead. They had muggle books, she heard.

Kyle slept confused the whole night. His head wasn't spinning, but he felt like it would start to spin.
