McKenzie hadn't been paying attention, she stared out the window. Deep in thought. /How come father never mentioned this? Was this why he had dissappeared so suddenly last year? Why do I have this pain crawling up my arm?/ She jumped and stared at her arm, it was burning. The seering pain spread till it engulfed her whole body. McKenzie screamed.

She shook her head, and more pain went through her eleven year old body. She let out another agonized scream. Austin leapt away.
"Aaaaah! What's wrong with her?!" he gasped, wide-eyed.

Kylie leaned forward and gasped. McKenzie's eyes were turning a reddish color.
"Wh-what's g-g-going on?!" Austin continued to whimper. Scott rolled his eyes at Austin, and joined his cousin.
"She needs a teacher." he said quickly. Scott was a second year, he knew some of these things.

"She's being possessed..." Scott said to Kyle. "Keep your distance. We need a teacher to handle this."
Austin got up, eyes still wide.
"I'll go get one!" he offered, then turning around he ran down the hall.
McKenzie gasped as the pain got worse. Soon the room was fading in and out, all she could see were blurs.
"H-help..." she stuttered breathlessly. Scott leaned closer.
"You'll be fine... Austin is getting help." he said softly.

About a half an hour later, McKenzie was fine, and the teacher that had come to help had left.
"What was that all about?" Kylie wondered.
"I don't know." McKenzie replied. "I just thought about my father and suddenly this pain fills my body."
Austin stared at her wide eyed and open mouthed, unable to move or say anything.
Scott sat in silence, staring at her.

Kyle stared out the window (he had moved to a window seat during all the commotion)> HE felt helpless like he couldn't do anything. He got up, and walked out the door.
